Cornelia Nashoba Latin: We know our hic, haec, hoc. Marcus

Thisbe by John William Waterhouse. The Latin three class is currently reading Ovid's version Pyramus and Thisbe.
The Nashoba Takeover began in Foreign Language Week 2004. It was a three day week. Monday was Spanish Day. Tuesday was German Day. Wednesday was French Day. We were bitter. Therefore we made 30 posters with Latin quotes in large, red letters on them and huge them around the school. Mr. Becker's said "Cotidie est dies Latina" (everyday is Latin day). Then in Foreign Language Week 2005, the French students painted an enormous French flag on our wall. We have begun a project of painting imposing gladiators around the flag. This year we did have a Latin day! Mission accomplished.
